Free Stephen Reichow

Hello, my name is Stephen Reichow. I am wrongfully convicted and have been incarcerated and separated from my family and loved ones for almost nine years. I’ve been assaulted and slandered, my life destroyed, and the most productive years of my life stolen under false pretenses.

Late one summer evening in 2015 a belligerent man threatens me with a baseball bat, causing me to fear for my life and provoking a ‘fight or flight’ reaction. I ran away, but he and his companion pursue me in her vehicle. The man exits the vehicle armed with with the bat and knife, and charges at me

I couldn’t outrun them I turn, defensively raise my hands, and brace for impact. The man clutches onto me as the bat lands in my hand. I wrench the bat from his grip and he was immediately neutralized. The assailant later died.

Dishonest and disgraced police officers fabricated a false narrative, drafting probable cause affidavits making material misrepresentations with intentional disregard for the truth.

In a trial that was an exhibition of prosecutorial misconduct, perjury, and violations of every ethical standard and constitutional right imaginable, I were convicted of premeditated first degree murder.

Where force was used only in reaction to the felonious assault, there was not probable cause to search for evidence of, nor charge me with, premeditated first degree murder. I am actually innocent of the crime I were unlawfully convicted of.

I filed a Motion for Return of Property and supporting documents, making a “substantial preliminary showing” police made material misrepresentations in their search warrants affidavits, requiring a Franks evidentiary hearing.

The supporting documents below, including the Declaration in Support, Memorandum of Authorities, and attachments show that from the beginning, the case is fraud upon the court and police officers perjured themselves with intentional disregard for the truth.

A hearing is set in Clark County Superior Court for May 2nd, 2024.
